20931 kitchen closing apps all the time

I have been using the 20931 kitchen for sometime but it seems like it always closes my app. even if i just have one program open all of a sudden it will be gone. Any ideas what is causing this? I have tried a program that was called closefix or something but it didn't seem to work. Any help is appreciated.
