Question HTC ppc6800 bell

Hey there all I am looking for unlocking and roms infor a HTC ppc6800 Bell provider for a buddy of mine if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreitive. I have searched and can find everything but bell for his phone.. thanks.. we are trying to get gps and that working on it but he don't want to brick his phone but loading wrong files.. But there does not seem to be alot with bell provider for this phone.. Thanks again....

I have Bell.

Bell isn't much different than the rest, hence why there isn't much documentation specifically to Bell.

You will need to upgrade pretty much most of the phone to get GPS.

You will need (In this order):

1) new SPL, (2.40 or higher)
2) New radio. (I recommend 3.42.50)
3) New Rom. (No recommendation, look for what seems interesting.)

After complete, you will need a carrier cab. The Bell Carrier cab will provided all the information to the windows rom you will need to connect to Bell. It's the only thing that is specific to Bell.

I wish there was just a SIMPLE way to enable the GPS on my Bell 6800.

No simple way and update you pocket pc signature to your current phone.
