Oh yeah I forgot about that. Sorry mugsy77.

And yes, the ROM is very clean. If you want I will upload my NBH if there are enough requests.

Actually that's the dialer. Try a Carlo$ dialer and see if it works for you. There is probably a cab file that would work for you.

Question Re: nueROM3-206 w\ PPCKitchen BuildOS (Updated 2/11/08)

I did a search on this Carlo$ dialer but I never found anything on it. Got a url or somewhere to search for this? Or what about another dialer that works?

For Carlos dialer installation issues, try this link for updated CABs.

I reinstalled a number of times (making sure I did a soft 'soft reset') and even tried some of the 'themes' mentioned but still the display is whacky. Any ideas on this? Or is there another dialer that works and displays properly?

Thanks!

Try cooking one of the dialers that are in BuildOS. If that don't work, then IDK.

I kinda did exactly that. Things seemed just screwy - not only the dialer, but the top bar icons sometimes didn't show up, messaging (tmail) wasn't running on a regular basis, etc etc., so I rebuilt the ROM (using the updated BuildOS stuff) and installed the plain Vogue dialer. That works fine now, and the ROM seems much more stable.

The only thing that seems weird is that my Verizon internet (*777) password doesn't seem to want to 'stick' - i.e. it gets cleared out at every soft boot. But I will worry about that later.

Thanks!
