Re: help trying to find the error in default.hv and user.hv
actually yes, and i flashed it! Thig is that whenever i flash it, everything looks okay (display of rom is 3.3.4 is there) and it just stays on the second flash screen and i never get the pop up of "click here for setup" screen...any ideas??? wonder if the "skip startup" OEM is causing this???
EDIT: forgot to mention that i had to move everything to the vogue kitchen and modified it so that it works with the titan and did it using this kitchen. Last edited by m_reyna_16; 01-19-2009 at 07:56 PM. |

Re: help trying to find the error in default.hv and user.hv
okay so this is what i did......
i used dogguy's kitchen (extracted a new folder from the .rar kitchen file) and extracted dcd's latest kitchen (which is 4.0). then, i deleted the sys, rom, and oem folders from dogguy's kitchen and copied the same from dcd's kitchen and moved them onto dogguy's (since i had deleted them so that i can copy dcd's folders, that way i wont have to merge them and have files from dogguy's kitchen). after that, ran buildos.exe and selected the "uc autorun" option and press the green arrow button (play/build). just a lil note, when ever i see it is building the registry on the lower left hand corner, the status bar on the right only goes up to the half and it displays as done. i check on the ruu folder and the .nbh file is there but it is only 809 bytes big!! there has got to be something wrong with the file!!! any suggestions??? |

Re: help trying to find the error in default.hv and user.hv
BuildOS does not build the rom, it builds the dump. buildit.bat builds the rom from the dump.

Re: help trying to find the error in default.hv and user.hv
sorry, forgot to say that i do run that, but the only thing is that it is "buildit.EXE" instead of buildit.bat, dont know if that makes a difference. also, see the pics i uploaded so you can see what i get in the black box whenever i run buildit.exe.....
