Question concerning DCD 3.3.4

I had a Sprint Mogul and had put the DCD 3.3.4 rom on it. For Christmas, I got a new Touch Pro and decided to sell my phone on Ebay. It sold pretty quickly and now, the person who bought the phone is stating that while the ESN is clean, the phone won't "take" the programing.

I recommended updating the ROM to the latest sprint ROM and try to activate it again.

Would having the DCD rom on the phone affect activation programing?

Re: Question concerning DCD 3.3.4

You LEFT a custom rom on something you sold on ebay? Ugh.

Some of the posts I've read elsewhere showed people having issues with some of the ## codes in the dialer, which is what is used to provision the phones. 'Might be related?

I know. Stupid. I did give the person the link to HTC's website to flash to a stock rom. Will that fix the issues?

Re: Question concerning DCD 3.3.4

Well, the buyer flashed to the latest sprint rom and didn't have any issues activating. I know she didn't relock the rom as she barely got through the flashing unscathed...

No you don't. It's the other way around really to be sure.
