smaller start menu

im very new to this and just got a mogul (first smart phone

) n im loving it.

what i would like to know is it possible to shrink my start menu so i dnt have a big long list when i open it up?

i search for a while and hope i didnt miss anythng before posting this but if anyone can help it would b appreciated
