After reflashes, no internet

Hey guys,

I've been trying out different roms lately like Scotts Manilla 2D and the Alltel Manilla 2D and my internet will work after the reflash but after 15 min or so I can't connect. I've tried installing the stock rom and the same thing happens after a few mins. I don't understand why the internet would suddenly stop working after a certain amount of time.

Any guesses??

Re: After reflashes, no internet

I had this happen to me on telus with my old phone, the problem was that the username and password were not stored, seems it would let me connect once after each flash, then not again. Maybee check in epst to make sure your data paramaters are set up properly, dial ##778 send, or ##778# depending on what dialer or rom you are using, if both fail, go to /windows and run epst I was going to tell you exactly what to look for in there, but for whatever reason, I can't open epst with the rom I am using, looks like I am flashing again

Hey what's up, I just got a new Touch from alltel and installed a new rom, now I can't sync to my PC or get on the internet. I tried your advise about the #778## but don't know the code, what is it or how can I get it? I tried to hard reset same problem and the phone won't soft reset. Can you help me please, scooter

Re: After reflashes, no internet

It's probably a hardware issue. Take it back and get a different one.

Re: After reflashes, no internet

(1) Go to file explorer and find Scott's ROM packs, install it.

(2) Browse to the folder with all the carrier ROMs.

(3) Install the appropriate one.

(4) Problem Solved.

Re: After reflashes, no internet

Just incase anybody was wondering i had this same issue too. Sprint was experiencing an outage almost nationwide so for about the past 18 hours some cells have not been able to connect, but everything should be up and running now.
