PPC6800 Alltel WM 6.0?

Does anyone happen to know where I can find it? I recently upgraded to 6.1, and it seems that it has killed the performance of my phone. Things are slow loading, screens stick (even after pressing the X in the corner or OK button). I guess I would also need the rom update (Rev A I think it was) that came out before win 6.1.

I also hate the way that it has made my text messages appear like IMs.
I have some email to text messages that were so big that they came in as two messages, the second message not showing the actual sender as the sender, but rather the first word of the second part of the message as the sender. If I could get that to revert back to showing like WM 6.0 does text messages, that would solve my second biggest gripe (first being the slow/freezing/sticking).

I have tried google, search microsoft's site, search alltel, and even here and haven't found what I'm looking for.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Well just hard reset. As far as threaded texting it's just a regedit that you can set using the program Scrap's Advanced Config. If you really are desperate for the older ROM try Googling Alltel 3.35 ROM.

Hard reset like holding the 2 soft keys + pressing reset with stylus? That didn't revert back.
I'm guessing I can also google scrap's advanced config, or is that something we have here?
Mostly I'd like to use stuff from here, cause Alltel raves about this forum.

I managed to find the above cab and rom files, but before I use them, I want to be sure that those are the two I am looking for.
Does anyone know if that cab was the one that updated for Rev A and whatever other issues alltel released it for? And is that rom the win 6.0?

Yeah that has GPS, Rev. A, and WM 6.0.

And apparently HTC Phones will not downgrade in OS. That bites. And as for that other tool you mentioned, it seemed like it'd be re-writing registry or something... I personally don't want to touch that sort of thing. Maybe I missed something on it though? Is there a "select text message layout" that I didn't know of? Lol

If not, are there any more suggestions for the text thing?
