Need help creating a kitchen - Nevermind. I got it!

Greetings all,

I am looking for assistance with kitchen building. I am trying to buid a kitchen based off the latest DCD 3.3.4 for cooking of my next ROM. I like the fact that it frees alot of memory. I tried breaking it down with Dog Guy's kitchen maker but that produced eratic at best results. Sometimes the kitchen would quit building, etc. All sorts of wierd stuff. So I decided to do it part manually. Compiled and here is where I am at. The phone boots and all is well except one thing. The radio does not function. Its there. It just says no service. Carrier cabs refuse to install. They just give the standard Installation was unsucss...." Other apps install just fine. Everything else seems to work OK right now. But here is the kicker and I am hoping this is motivating enough for someone to help. FREE RAM WAS 30 MEAGBYTES on a fresh boot with nothing running. Please see the attched screenshot. You will see th radio ICON problem I having and the free RAM.

The screen shot shows the free RAM and the radio issue I am seeing.



NOTE: Anyone who is about to bash this for hacking, copying, stealing, or any other associated term for taking DCD's work..... This is straight from a PM that I sent him when I was first creating ROMs for the board. Yes I asked him first!

We'll, yeah... but no phone service kinda defeats the purpose of having these phones. If even more stuff doesn't work or is removed, I bet you can have even more free memory.

Logic says...if you reverse a DCD rom, then reassemble it...you should end up with what you started with. So....that should help you realize that your free mem is due to whatever you screwed up, as well as point you to how to determine what it is you screwed up.

I know this. I couldnt figure out what is missing and was hoping it would not take up all the mem. I got it now. We can close the thread. I hit 26.8 on a fully working ROM.
