Problems Flashing nueSPL with 8GB MicroSDHC

EDIT: RESOLVED. See post #14

I have been reading for the past few hours but can't find any help on this topic.

I am trying to flash nueSPL 2.47 using my 8gb microsdhc card but it won't take. Keeps dropping me into 2.07nueSPL (apparently thats a relocker) but I am sure I am not using the relocker file (it came in the zipped 2.47 archive).

All of the tests pass fine during the wizard. I think the problem is the formating allocation size of the card. When I try to manually format the card on Windows using:

format g: /FS:FAT32 /A:1024

It says: "The specified cluster size is too small for FAT32."

I was able to do it with a cluster size of 2048 but it still just takes me to the 2.07spl. Anyone have success flashing nueSPL or radio 3.42.50 using an 8GB card?

If my memory serves right... You can't do any kind of ROM flashing on the Titan from an SDHC card...

Re: Problems Flashing nueSPL with 8GB MicroSDHC

Is there a way then to use the .nbh image file and flash the SPL the old fashion way with a ROM Update Utility through Windows?

Re: Problems Flashing nueSPL with 8GB MicroSDHC

I have similar problem, I used the nuespl2.47 to unlock. In tri color mode device shows the new spl info, hovever when I attempt to flash using signed RUU with latest no2chem rom for titan it gives me an invalid image error, I cannot load rew radio, Rom or even relock phone with both methods of flashing or relocking

I believe you need to use a card 2gb or less. I flash my radio with a 512. I do my roms via usb, however you can flash a rom via the storage card.

I tried to flash to the latest nueSPL also but it reboots and doesn't flash. Still stuck at the old bootloader. Tried just about everything.

I've tried a 256 and 512 sd card with no success, strange thing is no matter how many times the grey screen comes on during flashing, showing new spl, , nothing changes on phone, not even the old rom that were present? It shows the grey screen indicating loading rom quickly then it goes into tri mode with the words usb or serial at bottom of screen, if i hold the keys to initiate boot loader sumtimes it runs the reloading spl steps but that's a s far as I can get, after which i do a soft reset and it reboots to normal window screen?

I'm assuming the card is formatted to fat32

I think that's the same thing I get. I can take the same card and throw a ROM or Radio Flash on it, rename it to TITAIMG.nbh (think that's the name) and flash it just fine. Just a no go with the nueSPL nbh file.

Re: Problems Flashing nueSPL with 8GB MicroSDHC

I downloaded Scott's manilla 2d-rom and was able to do a flash with no errors using usb method in Vista 64, ran the update utilty from the RUU folder, after this I've since loaded No2chem nue rom 3 into said folder , successfully flashed with no errors, maybe that might help your situation.
