Question Best Radio?

I just got my replacement Mogul in and after unlocking/doing my custom ROM I have noticed erratic signal strength. the stock radio installed is 3.42.02 how much of an effect does the radio version have on custom ROMs?

Which Radio is best?

Re: Best Radio?

Is there something special that you have to do with this radio version to get GPS to work automatically?

I can get google maps to work with a manual COM4 setting, but it doesn't auto-sense anymore.

I am running 3.42.50 radio and nueROM-m 201. Maybe it's something from nueROM?

I am running 20924 and it worked automatically, once I installed the radio and tried GPS with Google it wouldn't work at first then I did a soft-reset and then tried again that is when I got the near instant GPS lock on

Re: Best Radio?

+1 for 3.42.50 Alltel version vs. DCD Vogue ported version. I just switched and it maybe a slight difference for some people, but I had better results with the Alltel radio version.
