Re: nueROM-S / nueROM-M / nueROM3

Are the ROMS sprint only or can I just run a carrier cab and convert it over to Verizon?

If not I will have to wait until Monday so I can run BuildOS on my work computer

You can run a carrier cab (like one of dcd's) to convert it over, but the kitchen base is NOT carrier specific, you can select who your provider is before cooking.

Re: nueROM-S / nueROM-M / nueROM3

I ran the ROM and had some trouble on Verizon. I loaded the ROM from SD and that worked fine. I let the customizations run (maybe this was my problem?) When the phone finished it had a triangle icon at the top that I've never seen. The carrier on the today screen was blank and I could not get data. I ran DCDs Verizon carrier cab twice but it didn't seem to fix anything. I ran a *228 and did the OTA programming and it seemed to fix it. I could get data, the triangle disappeared, and the today screen said Verizon. I though I was good until later in the day I tried to make a call and it told me that my phone was unauthorized. Incoming calls went to voicemail. The only other time I have ever heard this message was when I first upgraded to a GPS ROM and had to have Verizon reset my A-key. So I called Verizon and was sent to second level support. The second level tech did something on their end and that fixed it. I didn't have to reset my A-key or anything else on my side.
I'm good now but that's what happened to me. If anybody has any insight I would love to hear it. Thanks.

It doesn't do that after you open it with your start menu and establish a home page in the settings.

Question Re: nueROM-S / nueROM-M / nueROM3 error nueROM kitchen

Can I use the latest BuildOS (20924) with the 206 nueROM kitchen files? Reason I ask is that when I load the selections file it gives me two errors:

Internal Error - Option.xml GUID not found (Spring 3.35 ...)

Module not found (cb1f... - OEMOPERATORS)

Is it OK to ignore these errors? I'm on Verizon, BTW. Thanks!

Re: nueROM-S / nueROM-M / nueROM3

Sorry for the noob question, I am using build os, which of the "system packages" are needed for the titan? Is there documentation on them? Thanks, I tried searching but have not been able to find it.

Re: nueROM-S / nueROM-M / nueROM3

i'm using the 206 unified kitchen w/ the latest buildOS - after successfully building the rom and flashing, my sprint ppc6800 hangs at the boot splash screen and does not go into the nueRom blue boot screen. i have tried to take out the battery and still no go. has anyone run into this and do you have any suggestions. i took out all my OEMs and did a build just off the default nueROM3 selections and still had the same issue. thanks!!

I had the same problem. If you make any changes in the folders of the kitchen be sure to close all and restart your pc.
