Problem after upgrading to stock Verizon WM6.1

Ever since I upgraded to the Verizon WM6.1 upgrade from their website, my phone has problems restarting. It takes me 3 or 4 reboots of my phone to get it to completely come up into Windows. I get the Today screen, but that is about it. The phone is completely unresponsive to any buttons and has no cellular connection. I have only the same apps I had installed prior to the upgrade (which all ran perfectly fine) so I'm pretty sure it isn't a software issue outside of the OS.

I have noticed that when the phone gets into Windows and before it locks up, the wireless today plug-in shows no cellular signal and the connectivity icon at the top shows neither 1X or EVDO.

Has anyone else experienced this and are you aware of any answers short of rerunning the upgrade or just cooking a new ROM? I really don't want to have to call Verizon technical nosupport.
