Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

I've been having a similar problem, though without doing registry edits. I've noticed often times when I soft reset my phone is very bogged down during startup and continues to be so after getting into Windows. I also noticed that the wifi icon will be on even though wifi is off, and I can't get rid of it, and I can't access certain things such as the comm manager.

Soft resetting multiple times doesn't fix the problem, I have had to either pull the battery or hold the power button until my phone turned off, then upon turning it back on it would boot up normal and work fine.

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

Great build but....
Everytime i try and open WORD it freezes up. Excel and PP open without a hitch. I will try a third time to see if it is something i added. Anyone else having the same issue??

EDIT: after the third build it is working.

AS soon as Activesync starts to work on your desktop (meaning, like as soon as the wizard begins), disconnect the device and close the wizard. Then after a few seconds reattach. This works most of the time for me. Otherwise, you can go to the Activesync>File>Delete Mobile Device on the desktop app, and delete all devices, then reattach.

I just went back and measured the levels on my Titan. With the backlight on dim, I get about 67 on 19209, so there's nothing special no2 did. Haven't tried on anything newer yet. If you're backlight hasn't dimmed, you'll have much higher readings. I'll get numbers for 20755 shortly.

Edit: JustPCtech measured Nuerom.pre3, and it gets 76 (+-10 points is not significant, so unchanged from older builds)
I still havent figured out why when i make calls and use the internet the battery gets drained so much, but i just wanna thank you for all your time, help, and consideration. is there any way i can donate?

Add acbPower to your next ROM, and use it to find out which process is draining your battery. Post your results in this thread.

The PPCKitchen team would love your donation. You can donate from within BuildOS, or at http://www.ppckitchen.org/forums/billspaypal.php?

I'm sure "WideAwake" would appreciate a donation for running the PPCGeeks forum as well...that can be done here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=866

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

I am really liking this build. 20755 rocks. Quick and solid, so far.

I have had an issue where the WiFi switch did not seem to totally control the wireless. But I made it act like a hardware switch, and tried to sync the 10 button wireless manager at the same time, and the extra wireless icon went away. (I had 2 of them for a while.)

Watching the Wireless manager and the icon, the WLAN button keeps changing (every 7 seconds) back and forth from Blue (1 sec) to gray (6 sec), and the icon at the top turns to the tower and back to EV. I have to assume this would be wasting some power.

If I uncheck "act like a hardware switch", the icon and manager button seem to function normally.

Not sure if this is related to any power or speed issues anyone is having.

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

acbPowerMeter and No2Chem's power tell me my phone is using 120 mA with the screen at the second to lowest level, and 220 or so while charging. How do I figure out what is causing this? My battery went from 100% to 20% in 12 hours today, before I flashed 20755 it would last 2 days.

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

HELLO! I need some help as to why does our phones lag and act up on soft resets! I've been patiently asking for help and other people have expressed that they've seen the same exact things occur with them as well; SO, will one of you super moderators or senior members please make yourself available and be so kind as to help us with this dilemna. I would greatly appreciate it if someone or anyone made it their business to help those less knowledgeable since we're obviously unable to troubleshoot this problem. THANK YOU!!!

Without having more information its kind of hard to say what you're issues are here. What reg-edits are you doing? The device is probably lagging due to the errors on boot...so those are more than likely related. How does the device run if you DON'T do any reg-edits? How do you know TouchFlo isn't starting, and what version are you using?
