Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

Obviously something did change because it doesn't do it in x43 and does it in x48 & x55. Not to be the one that points out the obvious but if nothing changed why make different core versions? Clearly something did change. If they don't know what it is, I can accept that & move on in my futile existence but to blatantly saying nothing changed when - well - something did is a cheap cop out. I see this every day in the environment I work in. You change interface A and somehow interface N gets affected. Regardless, I'll just wait until it works itself out in a future release.

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

i have to concur.. i went back to 20748 due to slight annoyances with 20755... i had 20748 running error free for 3 weeks without fail before i upgraded to 20755 with the same programs installed. i think the only change for me was that the file explorer feature had upgrades, everything else was the same..

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

With all due respect Guru, all that I did was do a build. No oem's or anything else, so how do you break something. And secondly you never answered my question or gave me sound advice on this: why I keep getting error messages after soft resets, why the phone lags during boot up after a soft reset, and why I keep getting those errors I got when I did the rebuild. Please forgive me and understand when I say this, but," you obviously broke something is not helping to pinpoint the problem nor is it the solution. I've been on this site for 1.5 years now but I'm not as tech savvy as you or most others but I do enjoy the upgrades and LEARNING you all. So, with that being said, could you please help me find a feasible solution. I would appreciate it sooooooooo much if you could do so. Thank you...

lol - it was tongue and cheek. You had to do something different, or it would have done exactly the same thing as last time you ran it. The obvious way to find what changed is to start removing stuff until it works again, then start adding stuff back in. Tedious, but certain to produce results. Mortscript is the only distributed OEM we presently know to be broken in such a way as to cause RGUcomp errors - there's a fixed version available for it on ppckitchen.org.

I don't know the answer to your other problems. Typically lockup problems that come after first boot relate to network config issues or today screen items.

You're confusing things. The nothing changed comment means PPCkitchen didn't change anything. Obviously Microsoft changed stuff (hence the different build number). It follows that all the differences you notice can be attributed to Microsoft. If you manage to find a list of what those build differences are, please share. So, once again, nothing changed (no new registry tweaks, add-ons, or changes to the build process), so the differences you notice must be inherent to the build (because Microsoft made all the changes and we've seen the issue in 2 builds now).

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

Quick question, had trouble finding the answer in search:

If I wanted to give a ROM I made to a friend in buildOS, what do I need to send them so they can flash their phone?

I went back b/c of scrolling issues. The integrated scrolling I guess cripples the scroll and select in email/file explorer and I then still need to have TFlo installed to have touch scrolling in other programs. I know the email scroll select seems like a little problem but it is something that makes my life much easier with a large number of emails. I was going to try to put the old tmail into the new kithen but havent done it yet. If anyone could try? just my 2cents...

I am searching in vain to get rid of the built in scrolling because it causes screen input lags and is driving me crazy. If I find a way to remove this feature I will post it.
