FIX for nueROM 3pre3 "no Bluetooth hardware found"! - Page 2

I have to say that when pre3 came out I built so many times with the "no bluetooth" issue. The only OEM which I could consistently get to produce this problem was the Remote Desktop from the PPC Kitchem.

Tried it on another computer and adding those two lines from page one of this thread worked fine for me. My bluetooth still doesn't work for sailing clicker, but works great with my jawbone.

nuePowerCPL.cpl is not, at least by itself, the cause of the "No Bluetooth Hardware Found" error. I use that cpl in my build and the only time I got the bluetooth error was when I included Remote Desktop Mobile. I removed Remote Desktop from all my builds now.

I cannot confirm or deny the other two programs, but I do know that for me Remote Desktop was the only thing causing the problem.

*sigh* I still can't this ROM to work right with my Pioneer AVIC-D3. Very annoying.

I don't have anything else to test it with.

It connects to my car stereo, it just doesn't work otherwise. It works 100% fine (with Jetware running) with 3pre2 and previous ROMs, as well as the stock 6.1 ROM and some of dcd's stuff. I've flashed n2c's .nbh, I've cooked bare bones ROMs using the kitchen, and I've cooked larger ROMs while eliminating the OEMs that Jim mentioned. I've tried it with and without Jetware.

I'm not sure what else I can do besides switch to a different ROM... which would suck.

Actually it turns out I had to remove all of the nueTools in order for my Bluetooth to start working... and all I really had in there was nueFonts and nueLight. Once I removed those (along with the base stuff) my BT starting working again.

Must be something in the base nueTools code....
