Easy way to connect to data?

Do any of the Connection Managers have the ability to start a data connection? I like the Diamond ConMgr but it does not let me click to start a data connect, I can turn it off this way though. Any suggestions for an alternative data connect? I usually just let the app that needs to connection auto start it but I've run across some instances where the app does not start the data connection requiring me to go into CP/Connections/connect. Kind of a pita.

On a similar thread what about options for a "disconnect"? Most apps to not disconnect after it closes forcing me to go into COnMgr. Am I missing an option somewhere that the app that opens the connect also closes it?

TIA

Re: Easy way to connect to data?

I use O2 Plus exactly for that feature. I park it up in the upper right-hand corner instead of HTC Task Manager so I can toggle the data connection on/off directly from there.
