WM6.1_20748 Works much better than No2Chem_5067 on my Phone... Why?

Hi all, I just flashed the No2Chem_5067 Rom using PPCkitchen and the Phone was so slow, sluggish and heavy after that, so i Tought i had added too many apps and stuff, so i flashed again a clean No2Chem_5067 with NO Extras, NO APPS. Same thing. SLOW! , Than I Flashed a Titan_WM6.1_20748 Selections Whith everything I wanted and that was a HUGE difference! Much faster rom. Why would that be? I see so many people very happy with the 5067 Build....

Re: WM6.1_20748 Works much better than No2Chem_5067 on my Phone... Why?

Well, for one thing, 20748 is a much newer build of the OS than what was used in 5067. A lot has changed since then in memory usage and more. no2chem himself has made massive strides since 5067, but he keeps getting side-tracked by his own ambition, so none of his work has solidified enough to end up in the kitchen. As well, I think 5067 ran best with a higher pagepool setting (made massive differences, really), which is probably what the people who are so happy with it did. As well, I personally never used 5067 (went from 5066 to the 5069 series) due to some known issues with it that were later ironed out. Right now I'm using 20748 as well, and although it's got some issues, it's still better than the older builds such as 5067... as long as it's packed with no2chem's awesome nueTools.

I'm using 20273 and it feels fine here. Try recooking with a bigger page pool as Turbo said.
