Re: Titan WM 6.1 build 20748 GPS kitchen

will there ever be a fix for the voicemail icon on the top bar of my xv6800, VZW. when ever i get a voicemail the notification icon pops on the top bar, however when i click it, it does nothing. before cooking a custom rom, i was able to click that icon and my phone would dial my VM. can this ever be fixed?

regarding activesync and memmaid... this fix doesn't hold after a soft reset. dword 'keep alive' resets back to 1.

Here are some of the same issues I have just as others have posted; plus others:
1. Auto-complete not working in text or email.
2. Memmaid issue posted above (appreciate the suggested post for a fix, but this was not an issue in the last build).
3. All Mobile Mines not working: FIX = Installed .Net CF 2.0 and works now.
4. Call waiting tone sounds like a rapid busy signal. I can't hear what the person on my current says because it's quite loud. The tone stops after about 5 seconds and then I can hear the usual Call Waiting Tone.
Another issue: I can no longer select multiple files, emails, or text messages while dragging the stylus over them. I was able to this with the last build and all stock roms.

Any thoughts other than opening the soft keyboard and selecting ctrl+A?

We need to put the older tmail.exe in this rom like we had to do on the previous release. This was the same problem we had and it fixed it.

Re: Titan WM 6.1 build 20748 GPS kitchen

'bout ready to throw this laptop across the room I haven't used the ppckitchen for quite awhile so today I thought I'd play and discovered buildOS had 'expired'...no problem...download current buildOS...install...run updater....wait an eternity for the downloads...get to approx 80% and updater can't locate a particular file sooooo the whole blasted thing rolls back and I'm at square one. I'm using my PPC6800 tethered to my laptop so I don't having bazing speeds. Try the manual download route but I'll be darned if I can figure out how to manually update. Searched and searched for a FAQ or 'how-to'...I can't find one. There is a link for instructions in the first post but that link is dead...tried several more times to use updater and it can't find various files and stops. What a frustration...is the server down??? or can someone point me in the right direction for instructions on how to manually update?

I think this might be an intentional feature. You can now scroll "iphone style" and theres the addition of an option to select multiple items under "menu" then "select messages". Honestly, I didn't like it either but its starting to grow on me :P.

Re: Titan WM 6.1 build 20748 GPS kitchen

I think I am back in this same boat... I was having kitchen issues, so I wiped out the whole installation and am back to just a clean install of buildos. I run the updater, and let it try and update the BuildOS.exe file, but the updater is looking for a file called PPC-BuildOS.exe but its called simply BuildOS.exe on the download page. So the updater halts and says File Not Found... Not sure what to do from here. Once and a while it kicks back an error File Not Found when looking for PPCKitchen_OEM.rar, and that one IS on the server!! /confused

Well at least I'm not alone...I have all the files saved on a flash drive waiting to install...hopefully somebody will explain how to put all the pieces together manually!

Re: Titan WM 6.1 build 20748 GPS kitchen

I guess I figured it out for me anyway... I disconnected from my router at home and hooked up to my Mogul for nets and the files started downloading fine. I reconnected to the home Wi-fi and lo and behold everything updated fine... How strange.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting a time or two maybe? lol

Re: Titan WM 6.1 build 20748 GPS kitchen

Ok I'm getting heated.

I tried to do a fresh BuildOS install and the buildos.msi gives me the "program is too big to fit into memory" error in the dosprompt. This is on my machine w xp. I got the same error when I attempted to install buildos on another computer with Vista. Both computers have the newest version (4.5) of windows installer on them.

Whats the deal? I'm going crazy bc I just got a replacement mogul and its stock! I need to cook!!!!!!!!
