Re: 2D QVGA Manilla released - any chance for the Titan?

So for those that installed the new 26mb cab, did you install it straight over the old one and let it uninstall the old version? Did you do anything else like uncheck it from the today plug in screen? Stop any other processes

Or did you uninstall the older version manually, THEN install the new one?

Try installing XDA-Team_opal_volume_control http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...5&d=1221376612

It worked for me in Manilla with JD's 2.6 rom (23 Megs free on boot, Live around 17-20 Megs in use with Manilla2D... fast.... not as fast as with No2chems Nuerom3pre1 12 Meg pagepool).

If you uninstall either the old or new cab, you end up with an error with any new attempt to install either cab. The only way to get it to install (for myself at least) is to reload a backup of the phone from immediately prior to the first install. If you read the instructions on the Manilla2D website, they recommend backing up the phone before installing. Not sure when/if they will fix this problem.

Can you please enlighten me on why cooking into a ROM will help with the available RAM. Isn't the problem with any program the RAM needed to run the services/graphics etc once it is loaded into active memory (limited on the Mogul). ROM cooking would not fix that problem.... now would it.

Damn that sucks! I JUST hard reset last night to free up some space for this app. I do remember however being able to uninstall an older version and install the newer version with all the extra apps though prior to the hard reset. I didn't get any erros then. But i'm assuming that it's probably cuz the first version didn't have all the extras in it like the 9/14 version has.

So do you think if I uninstall 9/14 version, do a full back up, then hard reset, reinstall backup, it'll let me install the new 9/15 version? Don't really feel like reinstalling all my apps all over again.

Think I read on XDA that they might start working on putting out just updated versions to the M2d app.

Re: 2D QVGA Manilla released - any chance for the Titan?

THIS PROGRAM WILL NOT UN-INSTALL!
I even removed from today list and tried.... no go.
I do not recommend installing at this point in time if you do not want to reload the phone.
