DCD Rom? Help!!!

Hello, I'm in need of much needed help. I have a Verizon XV6800 and just downloaded their new rom upgrade, which i went from WM 6.0 to 6.1. My texting is still delayed and takes awhile for the words to come up after I type them in. I was reading around and found something about downloading a DCD Rom? Where can I find a DCD Rom download, and is it safe for Verizon?

you can find it here, be sure to run the verizon carrrier cab. Be sure to read plenty before you decide to just jump in head first, you may hit bottom pretty quick. Be sure to unlock before you flash to dcd.

The ROM itself is generic, you need to download a carrier cab for Verizon to run after the ROM installation. But like it was stated already, make sure you read up on everything you need to do so you don't mess up. DCD usually links the carrier cabs in any of his ROM posts, so you'll be able to find them in the link that jason25 posted.
