active sync connects when sd card is removed??
this is a problem i am having with vista. xp connects just fine without a hickup.
anyone care to take a bite?

I will try, but I doubt it will help.
It is possible that Windows Media Player syncs with the phone's SD card, and it is reading all of the data on the card before sync begins. How big is the card and what's on it?

sorry for the late reply. i think i have it sorted out. somewhere on the card was a pieace of software that was dorking with sync, or something else. i'll keep an eye on it
