SPrint Rom on VZW 6800

now i know sprint has an officail rom... tyhat has a GOOD working GPS. What if u installed that... then did not let customizations run, then install the vzw carrier cab over at DCD... would that have a good working GPS????

As long as yur unlock your device and put a GPS enabled ROM on the device, then yes would be the answer. Read my tutorial, it is in my signature. It will tell you all the steps to get it going. By the way I am on VZW too.

i currently have DCD's rom... but wil the GPS get better fix w/ sprint rom.. aka then no customizations and install VZW customizer cab??? or will it get same fix as DCD"s... I just dont understand why all people dont do that.. especially since its offical from sprint?>

I have never loaded the DCD ROM on my device and I get a lock in under a minute most of the time. So no would be my opinion.

I wouldn't recommend mixing and matching carrier ROMs. It screwed up my roaming on Sprint when I put a Sprint ROM on my phone.
