yuckie buttons!!! oh how i hate ye!

Ok, so I have n2c's 5066 build on my phone. Nothing new, been flashing roms for...well, too long.

Anyway, my talk + end hard buttons dont work....correctly. I have to mash the talk button 30 times to get to the phone app, as it should normally just be brought right up. To call the number I dialed, same issue, 50 times of mashing required. Same thing with the end button....for programs it should exit on first press, but low and behold.....mash mash mash. Wanna hang up a phone call? Mash mash mash.

Sooooooooo...

I got a cab that reset the buttons back to stock config, and it worked.....for a little bit. It seems that maybe my registry keys are corrupting or something...because in about 3 days i was back where i started mashing away again.

So, anyone know of a more, hmm....permanent solution? It would be much appreciated

Call and have the insurance added to you plan, then wait a week, pay 50 bucks and get a new one....

lol what are they gonna do? lock me up, throw away the key....and hand me my old mogul back? hehe. but srsly tho....they wont service it unless it has stock roms and is still locked....? I could have swore I saw a thread awhile ago about moguls coming off the line with Olipro loaded on it.

Re: yuckie buttons!!! oh how i hate ye!

true that. ugh, i just got my mogul where i wanted it too.

i FEAR going to the sprint repair center though. Every time I get a new phone from there its crappier than the broken one. i cant even begin to explain my treo600 stories from hell. I literally went through 8, yes EIGHT refurb phones before I bought the mogul..../sigh I just dont want to end up with moguls with new problems everytime i get one. just want one that works!

what new sprint phones are out now anyways? anything as good or better than the mogul out now? kinda been out of the loop for a little bit...
