Unhappy HTC PPC6800 Unsuccessful ROM Update

Currently I have followed GA. Medic's post for updating my PPC6800. I am at the part when GA. Medic tells the reader to install the ROM. I have installed the ROM and the screen I have is the following:

It's an all gray screen with blue writing.

All of the ext is centered on the screen and it reads:

TITAIMG.nbh - OK

CDMA - OK

Update Complete
UPDATE SUCCESS
(The status bar under this is full)

Then we I do a soft reset on the phone, I cannot get it to go past the alltel startup screen. I cannot get anything to load and I cannot get anything to work. Does anyone have and help for what I need to do now or what I've done wrong? Please advise???

time for a battery removal for 1 minute followed by a hard reset (press both softkeys under screen and hold while pushing in reset button)

This should get you past the boot screen

Re: HTC PPC6800 Unsuccessful ROM Update

ok did you install either the Hard SPL 2.47 or the older one 2.40? If not this is key:

http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/pag...HTC-Titan.aspx

load that up to update your SPL to allow successful Flashing of a custom ROM.
