connection sharing replaced with modem link?

using the updater in the buildOS, I updated to the latest of all for the 20270 and I am now not able to use connection sharing. before the update I would choose command manager then choose connection sharing then connect ppc with tether to pc and then surf just fine. now when I choose command manager, I find modem link that never links and not able to connect t internet on pc. any others having this. if so, what is the problem?
