Re: Samsung Omnia 3D Drivers

Okay instead of talking about how its running better, how about a link so that we can test it for ourselves?

Re: Samsung Omnia 3D Drivers

thanks guys for the help earlier. I have followed the instructions by running the first file and then waiting a minute or two and then removing the battery and turning on the phone again.. Then i run the frames test tool and it seems to not want to work right when the htc task manager is on. So i disable it and then i run it again after a reboot and it is still getting 2 frames per second which is the same as the stock drivers. any ideas? will this even work on a Sprint touch 6900? i ran the same frames tool on my treo 800w with stock drivers and got 40-42 frames per second. '''''''''''''''''''''''then i ran the drivers on the 800w and rebooted and still the same i think with the 800w it has a texas inst. chipset so it does not require them or so i read.

am i doing something wrong with the touch?

Re: Samsung Omnia 3D Drivers

Works really well, except I don't have many programs that use D3D extensively.

When I first saw the Omnia, I thought it was going to be some Samsung Instinct kind of phone... you know, a big POS. Then I saw it had WM6 and I about threw my Mogul out the window.

Too bad it's GSM.

The non-standard resolutions of the Omnia and the Xperia keep me from seriously considering them...even if they were to offer CDMA variants. I travel internationally just enough so that I wouldn't mind switching to a GSM carrier, but my Sprint plan is just unbeatable.

The Xperia is just drop dead gorgeous... and it's a PHONE.

I agree, I don't think I'd ever be able to find a deal as good as my Sprint SERO plan. I'll wait for the Raphael.

Re: Samsung Omnia 3D Drivers

This drastically improves video in tcpmp (when using directdraw instead of raw framebuffer), this was the major downer for me, as my old 6700 played videos smoother. Problem solved now! thanks guys
