Re: rom cooking

You can import cab files into oem packages with oemizer. Its a little tricky when there are alot of registry entries since they seem to get messed up sometimes. But all in all works great. I have made a few of my own oem packages. Including games that are bought. I just included all files after I registered it into the OEMizer and ran it. Now I dont have to register it everytime. OEMizer is found in the tools folder of the PPCkitchen...

As far as the rom thing. I think thats called a dump. Why though. If your making roms with the kitchen you could save them as you go and use SPB Backup to include a backup file for everything for each rom you build which I think would reinstall apps settings etc. Or at least thats what I would assume its for. I havent actually used it. I have heard that it doesnt work good with different roms though. Like if your running no2chem's rom, save a backup, then flash dcd's rom and want to run the backup I dont think it works right because of slight differences in the rom. However I would assume that if you have a backup of each then you could run the backup for that particular rom you just flashed.

Re: rom cooking

Does that copy the ROM? I think it just copies the filesystem, registry hive, and maybe some NVM stuff.
