Exclamation Plase help. I my phone bricked?

Ok so my brother decided to use my phone to try and update the rom. The phone is mostly functioning but does not seem to have active sync (I get an "ERROR:260 Connection") and trying to turn on active sync via the comm manager will not work. I have no idea how to update to a good rom, preferably the latest official Alltel PPC 6800 rom.

Device info reads as follows:

Rom version : dcd 2.3.2
Rom date : 12/05/07
Radio version : 03.37.20
Protocol version : DCAAXAM-4350H
Hardware version : 0003
PRL version : 30031
PRI version : 1.32_011
Browser version : MSIE 6.0
ESN : XXXXXXXXXX

What are my options?

Re: Plase help. I my phone bricked?

Try rebooting your PC. See if it will reconnect after that. You can use the Kitchen to make a new ROM if you would like. The tutorial is in my signature. We need to know a few things to help. Which bootloader version did he install. Which radio did he install. These items should not cause problems with active sync but may help us find you another ROM.

Re: Plase help. Is my phone bricked?

The bootloader reads as:

TITA100 MFG
SPL-2.40.Olipro
CPLD-9

He told me he did not specifically install a radio rom but did use the kitchen with:

Titan_3.35_WM6 Selections
Titan_WM6.1_20270 Selection

lastly he tried using dcd2.3.2-alltel.exe rom RUU.

If i can salvage this mess I would like to have a rom with everything I should have had when i bought the phone and perhaps a few aditional addons (pim, dialer, keypad) but am unsure because when i look at kitchen i see things that say Sprint, Apache, etc. can anything in the kitchen mess my phone in a bad way?

Go to Start>Settings>System>Device Info and see what radio version you have. Also dial *228 select option 3

When you use the Kitchen you select Titan selections then select your provider. As long as you make the correct selections you won't hurt your phone.

Good Luck. Just read it thoroughly before you do it.
