Re: Please help - hardware glitch preventing me from restoring xv6800 to factory!

Fantastic. So interesting update - got my new phone, put my extended battery in, and same issue. Great. Coulda saved myself a lot of aggravation by just getting a new battery.

So - now I have my old xv6800 (that will probably work fine with a new battery) and a squeaky-clean brandy new xv6800. Do I keep the new one and hope that they don't tell me that their magical sensors detected that I dropped/submersed/nuked my old one, billing me for $500? I've considered going to the local Verizon geek center where I've gotten to kinda know one of the guys and asking if there's any way he could check those sensors for me...please share your thoughts.
