Very long cellphone signal search after reset on Build 20270

Has anyone experienced very long delay of signal search after the reset? 4 out of 5 times, it'll take about 3-5 minutes (sometimes longer) for my phone to find the Sprint signal after a reboot (this is 3-5 minutes after the Today screen shows up). Anyone else have similar experience? I've tried to test the delay in multiple locations, but regardless of the strength of radio signal before the reboot this delay happens.

I have:
Radio Version: 3.42.02
PRL: 60613
PRI: 2.04_003

Service is not the problem. I've switched back to OEM ROM 3.56.651. And 10+ resets afterwards the OEM ROM performs very consistently: radio signal found almost full bars about 7 seconds after Today screen loads.

Re: Very long cellphone signal search after reset on Build 20270

I'm curious, what are your PRL versions at each level?

There is an offsite link that has a M.IP reset/reload type thing that has seemed to help me. When I come across the link I'll post it back here. My phone was doing that after loading dcd 3.2.5. Seems to be back to normal now. Unfortunately not really sure what fixed it and if it is really fixed.

Here's the link:
Look under the potential problems section - like the 4th one.

Re: Very long cellphone signal search after reset on Build 20270

I have been having the same problem since flashing to DCD 3.2.5 and radio 3.42.30. I haven't had this problem before when I was running DCD's 3.2.3. DCD is the man and I love his fast ROM's. My service seems to really suck since upgrading though. I wonder if this has something to do with the new 20273 Build or if it has something to do with the whole Verizon/Alltel merger thing. I wouldn't thing the merger would be affecting anything yet, but who knows. I will try a couple things before flashing back to DCD's 3.2.3.
