all right i downloaded the plugin and it turned gps on. still nothing. i used gps viewer and it scanned all the coms (com1, com2) and they all either said "open failed" or "none"

I heard this works for Verizon...don't know what carrier you have but you may want to try this if it is Verizon.......dial *22899 and then reboot .......as I said someone else posted this somewhere so I personally cannot confirm this as a fix....

great work ga. i wish someone had done this in december the first time i flashed. it was a real PIA tracking down all the info over a weekend or two.

ok i reflashed...used the same ROM. and now gps locks on to 4 or 5 satellites. not sure what was going wrong but nothing a reflash couldn't fix

haha same here. and i also changed the page pool so my rom is flyin. i set it to six. i wanna try eight but dont wanna go through the flash process again. lol.

Lots of times toggling the location off and back on will kick GPS in the butt too. Settings/Personal/Phone- Services tab
