6.1 Threaded Text Issue with keyboard.

I have just switched over to the mogul from my apache that was also running 6.1. I noticed on both the no2 and 20270 roms it does not display possible contacts for text messages if they are typed with the keyboard, but if they are typed on the on screen keyboard it shows them. On my Apaches rom it would show them with when typed with both. Does anyone know of anyway to fix this, thanks in advance for any replies.

Loading the Touch or Diamond on-screen keyboards breaks the built-in text/contact prediction.
