Help with custom roms

I have done various searches and read various threads on custom roms and flashing. I am hoping perhaps someone can direct me to a guide or help out. also looking for an idea on custom roms to use.

I am looking for the following stuff from roms and hope there is one out there for me.
-low memory usage
-wm 6.1
-microsoft voice command
-sprint user
-would like to incorporate touchflo into it easily.

I don't think that's too picky . I myself will continue to read up on what I can. I am a pc tech as my current job so im not an utter idiot, just to give you an idea of how in depth you can explain. I appreciate anyones help in this!

Re: Help with custom roms

The kitchen is realy easy to build you own custom ROM. If you go to ppckitchen.org you can download it.

Re: Help with custom roms

Yes, i have it and haven't look at it quite yet. Is flashing going to require keeping track of my MSL number and whatnot, or like when i updated my rom to 6.1 is it going to keep track of it?

Re: Help with custom roms

Appreciate all the advice so far. I've made my own rom with BuildOS. But as i asked earlier, am i going to want to get all of my personal phone info, like the mSL and whatnot before i flash?

Re: Help with custom roms

no that has never happened to me..Couldnt hurt but probably not necessary.

Take a look at pimbackup to save all your contacts, etc.

Also an unlocker like olipro2.40 or nueSPL 2.47 to be able to flash custom roms but you probably already got that if youve been reading.

Re: Help with custom roms

Ok, I built myself a custom rom with the 3.49 selections file. It flashed perfect and boots up and runs quite smooth. Then it just soft resets. Does this no matter what. I've toned down the ROM so there was so many bells and whistles but still had no luck. I've been searching for similar problems but havent found any listed. If anyone else has had this issue i would appreciate any tips. I have tried to reflash back to the the latest sprint rom but it errors while updating and i haven't figured out why.
