BAM! We're back up!

It looks like the kicker was getting the radio flashed. I was just able to flash 2.40, so I think I'm in good shape. I'm going to try to reflash with a GPS-based ROM. (Trying the official 3.56 ROM first.)

Did you first put your phone in bootloader mode? If not then do so, but remember if you haven't changed from olipro1.2 then make sure you flash a stock gps rom first.

Great, just make sure that you are in bootloader before you get started and make sure its the official gps rom. Then you can run the unlocker after that and get all the custom stuff.

Haha...no kidding. I do feel like I've learned a great deal about the ROM flashing process during this time, though.

Originally, I would have liked nothing more than to just get back to the stock ROM, but now that I know a bit more, I'm interested in seeing what custom ROMs are out there.

It looks like I may be in the clear here. The 3.56 update has gotten past the 11% mark, so I think I'll be OK. I'll be sure to post any final updates.

As an added note, adrenaline is one hell of a drug :)

EDIT: WM6 is back up and running! Thanks to all who helped me out!

I hear yah happened to me when I got my new (to me) mogul..

Check out the ppckitchen, no2chem's nueRom, and also DCD's roms.. There are several other but those are the most used ones...


Itll be alot easier to upgrade since you've already been through the hard parts.. That way if it happens again you just have to start over..

Reeg420 or Mullet can either of you tell me step by step what to do because I finally got out of Bootloader by flashing the 2.17 Rom so Now I'm at the WM custom screen. I powered my phone down after I got to this point so I wouldnt mess anything up futher. My question to you is did you unlock or relock your phone before doing the 2.40 flash and also do you have the link for the 2.40 flash. I'm afraid to use the unlocker I downloaded the first time because it left me with the Olipro 1.20.

Here is my understanding of the structure so far Mogul 6800:

unlock phone
Flash with ROM
Run CAB's to regain internet connection

Is this correct?

First run this to make sure you have the latest radio....

Sprint Offical Sprint 3.56 MOGUL 6.1 Rom is now posted at HTC.com


Then un-lock using the latest spl from NO2Chem.....right here...

Then flash a custom rom of your choice

I ended up with the same symptoms doing the exact same stupid **** lol, don't know if you got your problem solved yet but i ended up flashing back to an old rom and it worked fine from there it was rom
