I'm going to guess that, since I am getting the "No Radio" message, I am screwed.

no you are not screwed try this file below copy it to your sd card and flash it if it is sucessfull all you have to do is flash a rom the file is no2chems 2.47 unlocker

Make sure you put the file in the root directory of the 512mb micro-SD that came with the device. Once there, hold down camera and power buttons while tapping the reset pin on the bottom of the device. Now it should flash bootloader from SD.

What I don't know is if your device will work properly until a proper rom is put on there. Best best is to put nueROM 2.2 pre7 using the same flash from SD card technique described above. Note the ROM file must be renamed to TITAIMG.nbf for the bootloader to recognize it. Also, after flashing any ROM, please remove your battery followed by a hard reset.

Please let us know how this works out for you.

Sorry I was incorrect.
You are lucky, you have some real "pros" advising you now.

I believe there's a typo in the previous post though. The file should be named titaimg.nbh not "nbf". Good luck.

This worked just fine. (Though the bootloader still shows 1.20.Olipro, I'm not sure if this matters.)

I'm trying 2.2 pre7 right now. I'll let you know how this goes.

Well, no luck. Now it just sits at the HTC boot screen with the big red "No Radio" at the bottom. I'm thinking I may have a brick.

The bootloader seemed to update, but it still shows Olipro 1.20.

EDIT: I just tried the SD card flash using the 2.17 ROM and it failed. I redownloaded it, reformatted the SD card (FAT32, full format, not quick), and still no love. The error occurs at the CMDA portion of the update.

Does the "No Radio" message at boot have anything to do with this?

yes that's the main sprint one, but there was a 2.09 and a 2.16 as well. Also since you are unlocked you can try other carrier roms for pregps as well. How did you get the no radio portion? was it when trying to do a GPS exe install? you might have the special radio on it in which case try a GPS custom rom to see if it will let you boot into the OS. I wouldn't flash a full GPS exe with radio yet though.

PS: Jakdillard, you can't flash a hardSPL from a hardSPL they have overwrite protection and you can't do it from a locked SPL as it's not signed by HTC.

ImCokeMan...

Not to contradict you but I thought it was a bad idea to flash to a pre-gps rom to a phone that already has a gps rom..
Shouldnt he use the latest sprint update to flash to an official rom since he said that the sprint tech upgrade to wm6.1.

But Im probably wrong with you credentials you know what your talking about.

I am surprise that no one see what he did wrong, unless i missed it. Sprint gave you the latest rom update with the latest radio. The gps radio's don't work with the older non gps roms, so thats why you are getting stuck. All those 2.xx roms are older thats why you cant find any of them. Just find the latest 3.56 rom and just reflash that and you should be fine. If you want a custom rom then run olipro 2.4 then flash the latest sprint rom so you can atleast get the latest radio version then run a custom rom of your choice.

I have tried flashing with a newer ROM, but it always freezes at 11% and restarts.
