Re: JD's ROM's

Did I miss something? ... I see from the first page under the change log it shows:
Updated Shell and OS modules in SYS from 20273

When I check which build i'm on now after updating it shows 19208. Was there some burried link somewhere to a newer version that I over looked?

Also since customizations between ROMs aren't consistant being with Verizon should I let the customizations run or reset the device before they have time?

Just wondering since I skipped them and on my initial boot i have ~23MB RAM free where I see other people talking about 15MB on a fresh boot.

he just updated the Shell and OS from 20273......the build is 19208..

I would not let them run if you are having any problems....if no probs let it be....

Also I have not heard of anyone with 15mb on boot....most are at 25 or above....

first off, there are no customizations that run... all it will do on initial boot is reset your phone. just let it do its thing, its fine. this isnt a stock rom so you dont need to reset it there.

and when people were getting 15 mb of ram after boot that was on the first rom jd released, which had either an 8 or 12 pagepool. the current release has a 6mb pagepool which should give you around 23-25 mb after a fresh flash.

Hey JD I really like this stable rom you put out - Thanks..

However I have something strange about the voice mail icon at the very top. I have the Icon when I first get voice mail and if I start voicemail then immediately press end button, actually before going into the voice mail....The icon will disappear.. After a soft reset I notice I had voice mail.

I'd like to know as well. Gonna be flashing back to JD's once a new release is out.

WOW!

JD's new ROM plus ThrottleLauncher = Kickass!

I've got ThrottleLauncher 0.9.3 running on here with 20 FPS on TouchFlo3D and memory is sitting at *18* MB!!

And its zippy too!

I'm so happy now! Now if I can just find that Diamond .tsk... lol

Have you loaded the new D3D drivers yet? You should try them and then check your FPS again.

Re: JD's ROM's

Throttle doesn't use D3D though. It won't make a difference.

But TouchFlo3D only maxes out at 20FPS... and its smooth as butter on this ROM. Not so much on the stock Sprint ROM.
