don't have the reg settings for alltel but an easy fix would be to try the stock rom again. If MMS works export the reg settings and save them in a folder on you SD card. Also copy the server settings in MMS config. After you cook a ROM just go to the folder where you exported the reg settings to and cick on the file. It will update the reg settings to match the ones from the stock ROM. Then check you server info to make sure it is correct. That should get you fixed up. If it works post the correct reg settings on here and you will then be paying it forward to the other members with alltel devices. That is what we are all here for.

Thanks!

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

I've noticed 2 things with the this ROM.

I know it;s been mentioned before but I just want you to know I had the same problem. If you put O2 Plus in the cooked ROM then after restart. THe bootup will not go past the screen alignment screen. All that happends is you get a white screen. No matter how many time you soft reset of hard rest.

The second thing is there seems to be a problem with VZW sync or other programs which need to automatically connect to vzw if bluetooth is active. Once the program looses the active connection it cannot regain it. If bluetooth is shut off Sync can once again connect on its own.

Is there a solution to this?

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

gguruusa
I can assure you that I messed up my kitchen some other way because the first thing I did was look here and manually reDL the ppcgeeks_oem.rar and replace it in my kitchens folder. Even with no sellections, different dialers, new D3D drivers selected or not it kept getting the build error.

hehe I have no idea man... just thought I'd post my experience in case it wasn't unique.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

Yeah cook with a different dialer. Some of the dialers don't work on the 6.1 ROMs. Also you can check out one of these dialers. Carlos made some really good dialers. They have a cab install. Try on of them before you recook to see if one will work for you. I like them and the black one is working great for me.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

Another 20270 observation. I just got off the plane today and realized my phone automatically updated the time on its own because I had switched zones. I didn't have all of my appointment times screwed with by Outlook. It just updated the time to what the local time was automatically, it just worked. Whoever figured this out and fixed it THANK YOU... I have been fussing about the Outlook defect for years.

iBliss dialer issues

We are hearing of possible issues with the ibliss dialer breaking rings on phone. I will test this tomorrow to confirm, but for now you might want to chose another dialer.
thanks to shave999 for bringing this to our attention.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

using the updater in the buildOS, iam now not able to use connection sharing. before the update I would choose command manager then choose connection sharing then connect ppc with tether then surf just fine. now when I choose command manager, I find modem link that never links. any others having this. if so, what is the problem?
