i dont have anything special in this rom that I didn't have in the other roms so whatever the cause, I would have to say is rom related, but I dont know why it would happen.

oh, and another minor quibble I have, is if I go to turn off data through task manager, it says ARE YOU SURE, DIRECT PUSH WILL ALSO BE TURNED OFF, and i have to choose yes/no in order to turn it off, this isn't something that happened in previous roms. i am not sure if it's jsut the comm manager I am using (diamond 6 button black) as normally i used the 3D 6 Button one. other than that, so far so good.
I don't even bother with the light thing, it's useless to me. I use a program called "Best Reminder". Flaky name? yes. Bad program? no. It plays an audible sound every x seconds (where you set x). Basically, makes this like an ordinary cell phone. I often have my phone on the charger or something, and the light is of no use. But when it plays a sound? Yeah, much better. (you can also replace the default wav file with something of your own liking) I believe it has a 15 day trial, and if you like it, it's only $8. Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

hey i made a mod of the iphone earth dialer. it's functional enough.

##codes - work
smartdial - only when you open the keyboard and start typing
redial - no (but I removed the post call graphics to attempt it)

INSTRUCTIONS:
download the iphone earth dialer
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380466) and install it,

then download the attachment below and extract the files to the windows directory
(or wherever you installed the dialer)

soft reset your phone.

***i take no credit whatsoever. it may or may not be a mashup of earth/minimal/poorlyduck/dialer maker/my own work.
feel free to use any part i did without credit. ALSO, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!***

feel free to make a cab out of this if you want.

File Type: zip 20270 iPe mod.zip (109.9 KB, 3 views) Click for barcode!

I don't know how I missed your reply, but it was pointed out to me in the other thread I created. I ran the configuration and the folders are populated now. Thanks!

while good in theory, I dont want audible alerts, especially if I am in class, i just prefer to check the light. as for on the charger, the light flashes even if it's on the charger to signify that you have missed something, and once checked, it goes back to being steadily lit. i mean, i'm not dying because it's not working, but I would rather see if someone more knowledgeable knows what is going on, and may possibly come up with a fix.

Anybody else having this issue... it seems as if the the version of smart dial that showed up in no2chems roms shows up in this rom no matter what dialer or smartdial selections you make... I does not work right with the older dialer such as the touch clone dialer by Paul_Hammons and eb3604.

Ahh, I see. I myself found the light to be inaccurate when my Titan was on stock ROM. I haven't looked any further into it because I just figured I'd use that program instead. So unfortunately, I have no other advice. Sorry

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

I had problems with the light for notifications when I had re-mapped the light. It seemed that the light could get turned on but not off if it was remapped to another led. I just use the standard mapping and turn off the bluetooth led and the signal led and that works great for me.
