oh, and another minor quibble I have, is if I go to turn off data through task manager, it says ARE YOU SURE, DIRECT PUSH WILL ALSO BE TURNED OFF, and i have to choose yes/no in order to turn it off, this isn't something that happened in previous roms. i am not sure if it's jsut the comm manager I am using (diamond 6 button black) as normally i used the 3D 6 Button one. other than that, so far so good.

I don't even bother with the light thing, it's useless to me. I use a program called "Best Reminder". Flaky name? yes. Bad program? no. It plays an audible sound every x seconds (where you set x). Basically, makes this like an ordinary cell phone. I often have my phone on the charger or something, and the light is of no use. But when it plays a sound? Yeah, much better. (you can also replace the default wav file with something of your own liking) I believe it has a 15 day trial, and if you like it, it's only $8.
