Take a look at this one. I had tired poorlyduck's and no go. This one works very well for me.

i saw that one a while back and forgot about it... yeah it looks pretty cool. i'll have to try it.

change to landscape and that all changes

this is what i will be using for the time being, but the tiny landscape buttons, no smartdial or redial will have me pining for another dialer (or kitchen!). thanks again though... it's functional, and that's what counts for the time being.
