Re: Downgrade from 20226 to 19588?
Well, I just downgraded from no2chem's 2.2 preview 8 to preview 7 and, if I'm not mistaken, those build numbers were the main difference between the two. Dragging would not function properly on mine, general movement was sketchy and slow, and overall performance was bad, even with an 8MB PP. Preview 7 with a 6MB PP is infinitely more usable.

Re: Downgrade from 20226 to 19588?
ahhh I sort of have..
I cooked a 20226 rom with the ppckitchen flashed it to my phone...and would not load.. Everything installed fine but got stuck on the last bootscreen...Blah Blah Blah long story short I had to flash via sd card through bootloader instead of thru active sync like I normally do. The rom I put back on it at first was the official 3.35 rom... Installed and loaded fine.. Then I tried to cook another 20226 rom with only oem's that I know work since Ive cooked them into roms plenty of times. Same thing froze on last bootscreen. Flashed via sd to a 19588 rom from the kitchen with the nbh file which took me a long *** time to find its under your documents on the pc under the BuildOS RUU folder (no internet at all at this time at my house to top it all off) Ran that rom fine for a while no problems...Now I got the 20226 rom to work from the kitchen..I believe it had something to do with the fact that I downloaded the kitchen updates through a bad wifi connect while sitting in my truck on the street...lol |

Re: Downgrade from 20226 to 19588?

Re: Downgrade from 20226 to 19588?
Good Point..
But it definatly upgraded the whole OS regardless if it fully loaded I would think thats all that matters. Did you try to flash to a VZW rom without GPS. Ive read about problems with that if you already had a gps enabled rom on it. Now you got me itching to see if it works... |
