WARNING: Users should not attempt to load an older version of ROM after loading 3.56.

I have noticed a few poeple having issues flashing custom roms after flashing this rom. I noticed that there this warning on HTC's download page:


"WARNING: Users should not attempt to load an older version of Mogul ROM software after loading version 3.56.651.0. Please delete any earlier versions of the Mogul ROM software you may have downloaded previously to your PC"


Im not sure if this is just a typical statement or if maybe there is merit for such a warning. Just thought I should bring it to light in case it was missed in the excitement. I just wanted to check it out and then go back to a custom but Im going to wait for awhile - I dont feel carying arround a heavy brick instead of my mogul.

I think they say that with every ROM upgrade.
I'm pretty sure this is to do with the radio upgrades more than the ROM.

I did notice a few problems building 19558 ROMS in the kitchen after downloading the 20226 update. I think they have changed the format for the kitchens and I had to restore my PC to pre-20226 to get it working again.

I did it earlier, I downgraded to an old rom this morning testing some things out. I didn't have any problems and then when I was finished I went back up.

This is basically relating to the issues from GPS rolling back to PRE-GPS radios. That is dangerous, but custom OS ROMS are fine and i dont' see a problem swapping between GPS enabled stock roms really either.
