IMAP Gmail not working after upgrading

After the upgrade to the new ROM with WM 6.1 IMAP Gmail not working!!!
Any body got it to work?
It does not give the option to disable the automatic setting for the email account! any way to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Mistype your email address and it will fail on the automatic setup. Then configure it for gmail IMAP and it will work fine.

I even tried without writting any emails in the first page and it also worked.
