audio wont play with phone off (suspended)

hello, i have been having an issue with mediaplayer and tcpmp player allowing me to play any of the audio files i have after i push the off button and suspend the phone, am i doing something wrong? the problem is i work 3rd shift and listen to music about 90% of the time and the phone only last me a few hours if its on, also i pocket dial with the phone on and nobody likes a phonecall at 3am.

google (s2p.cab) you could shut off the screen and the music will keep playing or you could use the core player

you can go into your players settings, and assign a button that will turn off the screen. this will work for both wmp and tcpmp.
