Nope. In fact, they haven't even promised it. If I remember correcty, they have ignored it completely.

Why bother supporting yesterday's hardware when HTC is too busy with the Diamond and Touch Pro?

For now, I just glad HTC is still releasing ROM updates for the Mogul- any guesses on whether 3.56 will be the last one???

Re: Progress with HTC Video Drivers

So what's the deal with this driver update? I'm seeing its still not complete on the Kaiser side of things (only d3d, not standard 2-D acceleration which would be more of a useful performance boost in daily use), and not even working at all on the Titan.

This is more news that I had ever expected, however. I'll be honest, I figured most people would have the same excuse as HTC- why bother trying to "fix" this when the next thing is around the corner. I had just about given up hope, and resigned to deal with this until I replace my unit with something else.

Now my hopes are up again- I hope they don't let me down!

except for the fact that the tilt is HELLA heavier then the mogul and it feels like a brick in your pocket, and the fact unless you're using wi-fi you notice an incredibly slower internet speed, you know but other then that it blows it out of the water =D>

I thought the Tilt supported 3G so I fail to see why it's "slower internet"

you're right, but whenever i do a line speed test on the tilt (which my roommate has) and then i do it on my phone, i always beat him. even with just regular browsing my sites always pop up faster, maybe its just in my neighbor hood, i don't know, but i'm ALWAYS having greater speeds, so obviously in my mind i will forever take evdo rev-a over 3g.

Re: Progress with HTC Video Drivers

HSDPA technically speaking can go FAR faster than Rev A can muster... but at&t hasn't piped up their towers with large enough backbones to support the higher speeds, that's the problem.

And my point on the Tilt blowing the Mogul out of the water is on two points - graphical performance and twice the RAM. Oh and the keyboard is hella nicer on the Tilt too. Bigger keys and they click better when you press them...

..you know in europe, HSDPA provides 7-14Mbit downlink speeds?
