Too Many Stickys

Any chance we can cut down on the stickys? They are confusing as all hell right now and I wouldn't dare join this forum after seeing the wall of stickys and knowing how everyone will say, "read the stickys..."

Some people will say, "read the stickies". Some will give a direct link to a certain one. However, if there is a sticky in place it is because a mod decided that it needed to be there and I don't second guess their judgment because they are the reason that the board is the way it is. Plus, the stickies are always a good place to start. No offense but, if you woudln't dare join the board, why are you posting?

While I believe the stickies are very important, maybe we can save space by listing each thread in one massive "help" thread and have that stickied? Leave it locked so only the mods can post to keep it clean.
