This thread is to announce the latest changes to the bleeding edge build of NueROM 2.2

About nueROM 2.2

nueROM 2.2 is designed to be a lightweight ROM that does everything a phone should be able to do, right out of the box without added weight. It aims to have a large store of RAM available (currently, ~27MB at boot) while offering the best performance. It includes most nueTools, which allow the user to customize the phone without advanced knowledge of the registry. It also supports multiple carriers, so it may be used on any HTC Titan device.

Instructions on how to get/use nueROM 2.2
In order to use nueROM 2.2, your phone needs to be unlocked, and GPS enabled. It is suggested that you update to any GPS ROM.

--For Sprint Users
If you are using a SPRINT phone, the fastest way to do this is to update to the latest ROM:

If you are running any other carrier phone, you should unlock your phone first, with nueSPL-2.47 or Olipro 2.40. Be sure to have data provisioned your phone before proceeding with this step, and have backed up your data in EPST.

Then, to update to nueROM, download nueROM available at ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/No2Chem

and the RUU from ImCoKeMaN:

Extract ruu.rar, and place the RUU_Signed.nbh from the nueROM archive to the same directory, and run the RUU Utility.

nueROM 2.2 5770 has been posted on the FTP.

Some of the new features include:
NueSliding - Changes SIP on Keyboard Open
NueLock - Updated KeyLock System
CE 5.2.20270, WM Build 20270.1.3.1

Bug Fixes include:
Fix home screen bottom bar issue
Fix issues with HW Switch
Power CPL now rounds charge down if it is less than 10 mA.
"Reply All" issue should be fixed.

in general news,

i am working on transitioning a few things, like getting a bug tracker thing up among other things. I have also gotten slightly busy with real life, so updating the rom has fallen a little behind. I will post here if there is anything new.

things are moving along fine;

i am in the process of obtaining webhosting; but I doubt that i'd have enough bandwidth to cover all the downloads. If you're interested in mirroring, please contact me - I should have some kind of automatic mirror system and "this mirror provided by (blank)". If all goes well, my sql server should be up soon, after my licenses are verified ... and I can begin working on coding the server side of some apps to come.

my e-mail has been down lately, due to the transition so as usual, expect slow e-mail reply times.

Okay, other announcements -

If you made a donation (ever) you should have received a test e-mail indicating the system is working to the e-mail you made the donation with.

If you haven't received the e-mail, please e-mail me.

Also, for those that offered hosting, thanks. I haven't had time to reply to your e-mails yet; but I will let you know what the status on that when I get everything setup. Most likely you will just need to mirror a directory structure. (which im sure could be setup using a cronjob).

I fixed a timeout error in the mail script hopefully the e-mail got sent out to everyone. Thanks for everyone who let me know about the e-mail. If you haven't recieved a e-mail, it is probably because you donated either not using the paypal donate button or by means other than paypal. (In any case, you didn't miss much). As for the rom; its being worked on.
