In Preview 8, I noticed that there was a lot of "new" default sounds. (WiFi detect, new txt msg, "Snooze" sound for alarm etc.)

Are these sounds bundled in a cab or zip file somewhere or do I have to install pre-8 and then extract the sounds manually?

I really liked the new sounds and would like to be able to add them to the Sprint 3.56 rom I am currently running which has only the same ol sounds as the 3.35 rom.

are any of the nuerom versions from 5061 up to the pre8 as stable as 5060 ??

For some reason i cant flash the nueroms i keep getting in the splash screen.
I can load any other rom just fine but nuerom isnt working and im no strangers to flashing roms.
Ive done it from the sd card and the RUU and nothing. any suggestions?

Pull the battery after you flash......put back in.....and then perform a hard reset....will boot up fine after that...

ill try that as soon as I can (I'm in the middle of an sms cnversation).

Is there any technical reason as to why this will work or is it just one of those things that just works.

And is this a common problem?

I will be bundling up stuff soon; I realize that a lot of people not using my rom are interested in this stuff, so they will be posted on my site as cabs soon enough...

i believe the problem is that data is still stored in ram while the phone is off. by removing the battery the data is cleared. thus it allows the phone to boot up!
