I was running higher (10+ mb) pp but I didn't really see the point, considering the main gain here is for having the extra memory... I guess everyone is entitled to their own preferences but sheesh 12+ mb seems like a waste doesn't it?

I found that 8mb pp is the sweet spot for me ;)

I just upgraded to NueRom3 and was wondering if even on this rom will using Opera make the mogul a single app device like it does on the other roms? Anyone have any ideas. Also, is anyone getting what looks like an extra block of space when using the onscreen keyboard? I have tried installing Nubar but can see where to config it or select it.....appreciate any help, thanks

You guys are just trying to make me flash again before No2Chem fixes the camera issue, aren't ya?

The more I read this forum, the more I flash. :headbang:

I can run Opera, Messaging, Windowslive GPS like I mentioned earlier.

In terms of the keyboard... You are seeing exactly the same behavior that freaked me the first time I was writing on it. Try grabbing that "extra space" and dragging the whole KB around -- I was using the character recognition part of the KB, and I accidentally dragged the thing where only a small part of the KB showed on the screen --- I thought I had broken the device! It's OK though, just adjusted the way i use the KB.

The memory is worth it to me.

Yea i saw that i could move it around, i guess my question is, is there a way to disable that block of space ontop of the onscreen board keyboard (since i cant see the words im typing because the space makes the keyboard overlap that part of the screen) or do i just have to move the keyboard each time i type....not really a deal breaker just wondering if anybody has figured this out....thanks

The extra space appears when I run PCMKeyboard. If I stick with the stock WM6.1 keyboard it does not appear. Due to the need to use the onscreen keyboard as well as a desire to use the camera again, I am back on JD's 2.6 rom for now (waiting on a Diamond to ship as well.... that should fix all my memory issues with the Mogul... lol).

agreed 8mb pp has been optimum for me using 3pre1! still always have 22mb free even with manilla2d ect running! And no hiccups or hangs, it's always fluid and responsive (except when running Opera - but hey you cant win em all)
